I finally have the courage to post this,
Sadly at 10:24 on Tuesday the 21st or September 2010 at the age of 13, our dog Dakota passed away.
Sadly we had to put him down. He was having breathing trouble and could not walk. Thanks to the Lord for so many things thought. He was quite calm at the end like he knew and was ready to die. Thanks that my dad was able to come back from Florida, making the plane with only 10min to spare. Thanks that Dakota had a happy and long life. Thanks that we had so many good times with him. Thank the Lord for so many more things. There are so many that I cant even list them all.

Yes he got to sit at the table on his birthday. |
I know--or rather, I can't begin to understand--how special Dakota was to y'all. He was such a sweetie and fit your family so perfectly.

It may seem impossible now to see ahead but I know God always has a plan in mind. And to be able to post this? I couldn't have. :)
My favorite is the one of Dakota and Otis together. Best cousins!:D (kinda like me and you and Paige...*grins*)
Sorry for such a long comment, but ya know, long ones are usually good.:D
Hugs,
Caroline
P.S. I'll give you a shoutout when I post.XD
Aw it makes me teary again to see this :(
ReplyDeleteI know it's not too comforting but you gave him a long happy life filled with many wonderful things and I don't think it could have been better for a dog. Dakota was such a special boy. We'll always remember him.
I love the photo of him and Otis. Our two fat boys! <3 Good times.
*hugs*
