About the Band

We are a band called IMP, why the strange name you ask? Well it was actually the idea of out lovely composer Bethlehem. It can stand for many things: improvise, improvement, importance, imp, impatient....I am fairly sure that any word starting with IMP can be applied to us is some way.

So the members?

Well there is me, Lorna the oldest, and I write all the lyrics and play the violin, occasionally the guitar and now the Irish whistle. I am also the one who mostly does the blog.

Next there is Bethlehem, who rights

all the music, plays the piano, violin, and guitar.

 Last of all there is Gail, who plays the dulcimer.

We all are in high school and enjoy music, learning, and deep conversations. Most of all we  have a passion for God and want to honor him. We believe that Jesus is God's son, rose from the grave after being crucified on a cross, and will come back for us someday. I think Romans 6:23 sums it up nicely "For the wages of sin is death, BUT the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
